family affair IX - Therthurai, May 2015

“family affair IX” was done in Therthurai from 21 May 2015 to 30 May 2015. Therthurai is a village about an hour’s drive south of Kancheepuram. The host organization was Therthurai Volunteers, a group of young volunteers helping the villagers of Therthurai, Tamil Nadu.  Around 130 children participated in the project.  During the project, the kids had an outing to the Queen’s Land Theme Park in Chennai. We also took them to watch the movie DeMonte Colony (Tamil) in Kanchipuram.
